Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 28, 2026

fridgelightmedia.com is operated by Fridge Light Media. Contact: support@fridgelightmedia.com

This Privacy Policy explains what information Fridge Light Media (“we”, “us”) gets when you visit fridgelightmedia.com or email us, and what we do with it. It covers fridgelightmedia.com only.

This site is simple. It has no user accounts, no newsletter, no comments, no ads, no analytics, and nothing for sale.

1. Information you send us by email

If you email us (for example at support@fridgelightmedia.com), we get your email address, your name if you include it, your message, and anything you attach.

We use this only to read your message, reply, and help with what you asked about. We do not add you to any mailing list. We do not sell it or use it for advertising.

Our email addresses are forwarded by DreamHost, our web host, to our inbox, where we read and answer messages.

2. Server logs

Our website is hosted by DreamHost. DreamHost’s servers automatically keep logs of requests to the site. These logs can include your IP address, browser and device type, the page you asked for, the page you came from, and the date and time.

DreamHost keeps these logs for up to 7 days, then deletes them.

These logs are used to run the site, keep it secure, and fix problems. We do not use them to identify individual visitors or to build profiles.

3. Cookies and scripts

The site runs on WordPress. WordPress and DreamHost may set essential cookies that the site needs to run properly or securely. These cookies are not used to track you.

We do not use analytics cookies or advertising cookies. Our fonts are hosted on our own site, so your browser does not contact a font service when you visit. If we ever add a tool that uses analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this policy first.

We do not track visitors over time or across other sites, and we do not let third parties do so on this site, so the site does not respond differently to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals.

4. Links to other sites

If this site links to another website, that site has its own privacy practices. This policy covers only fridgelightmedia.com and email sent to us.

5. Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child under 13 has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

6. How long we keep information

We keep emails for up to 2 years after our last reply, and then delete them. Server logs are kept for the period stated in section 2.

7. Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers that run our site and email (DreamHost and our email inbox provider), when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

8. Your choices and requests

You can ask us to tell you what information we have about you, to correct it, or to delete data you sent us by email. You can also object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it. Email support@fridgelightmedia.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We may need to confirm that the request comes from you. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

United States: Depending on the state you live in, you may have additional rights over your personal information. You can use them by emailing us at the address above.

EU and UK: If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can make the same requests by emailing us at the address above, and we will respond. You may also contact your local data protection authority.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top. If we make a significant change, such as adding analytics or a new app, we will say so on this page.

10. Contact

Questions about this policy or about your information: support@fridgelightmedia.com.

11. Legal basis (EU/UK visitors)

We process emails and server logs on the basis of our legitimate interests in answering you and running and securing the site, and where the law requires it. You can also object to or ask us to restrict this processing. Our providers may store data in the United States or other countries.
